So I am going away this weekend. With my mom. And without Charlotte. All week I have been looking forward to it. Until this morning. I want to take her with me. I already miss her.

I told Charlotte that if she was a good girl she could pick a treat at lunch. She was and she picked a M&M cookie. Just like her Daddy would have. And she ate every last bite.

Our happy day.

Not sure why

Charlotte thinks she needs to keep bringing me diapers. She isn’t dirty. And “no no” doesn’t seem to be working. And now she is bringing me bandaids. This girl.

I have been a terrible non existent blogger lately. We are alive and doing well. Charlotte is changing daily. She has gone from taking two solid naps to weening out that second nap, which means less time for me to post. And when she is awake she is a fireball of energy. She does play by herself for a good half hour (sometimes an hour if I’m lucky), but that is when I am cleaning up the aftermath of tornado Charlotte. We have also been spending a lot of time outdoors and taking advantage of our sunny winter. Plus, this seems to wear her out the most. I do miss posting and checking in with everyone daily, but I know that one day Charlotte will not want to be with me all the time, so for now the posts are probably going to be few and far between.

The surprise edition of photos or maybe a better title would be Hey Mom look what I can do now! This girl is serious about getting into EVERYTHING. She thought it would be fun to try to get into the drawer. Then she couldn’t get out. Guess that was not the adventure she was looking for. The contents of the drawer were found over the next couple of hours. Yesterday afternoon she found the need to organize her diapers. Every single one of them. Apparently they look better scattered all over the bedroom floor. Why didn’t I think of that? And this morning, she decided blueberry pancakes and banana weren’t enough for breakfast. Toasted Schlumpie is the perfect after breakfast snack. Again, poor Schlumpie. He keeps finding himself in the oddest places. First the toilet, now the toaster oven. What next? She is now napping recharging.

Yesterday was a double tutu wearing day.

AHHHHHHH she is 14 months now! And walking like a pro.

I thought it was so cute how Charlotte was eating her rice crispies out of the tiger container my Mom bought her, even though most were on the rug. Man have I mellowed out. Yeah maybe not because her lunch all over the floor wasn’t so cute. Jane and George were happy to help with the mess.

Bath time. Our favorite time. Also our silly time.
